The national organization was formed in 1935, and recognized the potential of volunteers of all ages in helping those less fortunate to a better and more meaningful life. Volunteers are dedicated to improving lives through hands-on programs.
Last year 26,000 members were responsible for returning $36 million to communities nationwide and contributed over 2.6 million volunteer service hours. Lives of nearly 1.2 million people have been touched.
Operation School Bell® is a national program of Assistance League. Throughout the year there may be various fundraisers held to fund this and other programs. The annual sale of geraniums has become an annual fundraiser and the public as well as the members who volunteer also enjoy it.

Two dollars of each plant is tax deductible.
Our geranium sale was extremely successful this year. All plants are grown locally at La Paloma Greenhouse. The geraniums are 4" high and available in red, salmon and pink. Watch for announcements about next year's geranium sale or for future fundraisers.
